BIRDWATCHING BY A NATURAL LAKE
Every year in December and early January, thousands of Siberian grebes migrate from the bitter cold in Siberia to take refuge at this pond at the intersection of Phuttha Monthon Sai 3 and Bangwaek Road near Suan Saengtham Monastery. This is the ideal time to study the behaviour of these rare migrants.

The vegetation of the surrounding area rages from tall trees to open fields of different kind of grasses. It is a natural habitat not only for the Siberian grebes but also for many other species of birds and animals. It is a superb birdwatching site because of its accessibility and the numbers of birds, especially water birds, making their homes there.
